Most property developers by the sea have created high density developments, placing the maximum permitted size of building on the plots. This maximizes the use of the land, and the short term profit. Most developments have been apartments and hotels. There is now the danger of oversupply in some areas, so some developers are now building houses. However they are also high density.

This is a house in a typical new estate. There are no private gardens, the path outside your house is used by everyone. It is more like living in a public park, you can't really sit outside and have a barbeque or sunbathe.

Our approach is different, unlike the property developer who makes money by selling property, our motivation is to create an attractive environment for tourists, which gives a good long term return on investment.
